Ship Shape

Ship Shape

It’s time to get my life together

I believe I need a change

I’m over this hurry up and wait

Got some chaos to arrange

I bet a different work space

Would matter just enough

To put a big smile on my face

When the times are tough

So I’m gettin’ in ship shape

In the morning i’ll make my way

To the dock at the end of the bay

And throw my bags on board

Sail out into the open sea

Park in an lounger and enjoy the breeze

Go to the ocean and just ease on in

Relaxin’ with all my friends

I’m getting in ship shape

And I can’t wait

So let’s get our ship together

And order up a drink

Grab yourself a bahama mama

And toast with sex on the beach

I’ll pretend to be the captain

And grab a rum punch or two

We’ll keep drinking ’til the sun comes up

And sleep the whole day through

So I’m gettin’ in ship shape

In the morning I’ll make my way

To the dock at the end of the bay

And throw my bags on board

Sail out into the open sea

Park in an lounger and enjoy the breeze

Go to the ocean and just ease on in

Relaxin’ with all my friends

I’m getting in ship shape

And I can’t wait

And I’ll probably end up ship wrecked

With a bunch of good ‘ol rednecks

Because we drank all the whiskey, rum and beer

It’s been a party since we left the pier

So I’m gettin’ in ship shape

In the morning I’ll make my way

To the dock at the end of the bay

And throw my bags on board

Sail out into the open sea

Park in an lounger and enjoy the breeze

Go to the ocean and just ease on in

Relaxin’ with all my friends

I’m getting in ship shape

And I can’t wait
