Things have been extremely fun and productive in the Kate McRae workshop this week. I bet we have been busier this holiday season than Mr. Santa Claus himself! All week long I have been writing, recording audio, filming videos, and taking pictures, all in preparation for the Warning Label album being recorded early this next year. Don’t blink, or you might miss out on something! I have also been very busy this week with both throwing and attending holiday parties. There is nothing like some christmas music and beautiful lights to put someone in a cheery mood!

I have also had the enormous pleasure of striking up a conversation with several of my new fans over the last week! It has been amazing to get to know some of you better. I am always up for meeting and talking with fans, so please never hesitate to message or tweet me!

I have been absolutely blown away by the fan response I’ve been getting over the past months. You all have really shown me an amazing amount of love and support. Thank you so much for helping me share my music. Today I was really touched when the grandmother of one of my fans sat next to me on my flight from Dallas to Shreveport. She had been with her granddaughter, Lindsay, a couple days ago. Lindsay had been listening to my music and was looking at my webpage with her grandmother. Her grandmother recognized me from the photos and struck up a wonderful conversation that was truly the highlight of my day. I was so touched to see how my fans were sharing my music with family and friends. So here is a special shout out to Lindsay and her MeMaw. Thank you both for listening and sharing! It’s because of you that I get to do what I love every day and I am so grateful!

On another note, keep sharing that WARNING LABEL video! Tomorrow evening, I will look to see who has truly gone above and beyond with all of their shares/comments/posts/tweets/etc, and I will be sending them a special acoustic track!

So now that you’ve seen what is behind my eyes for today, it is my turn! Between staying up late doing recordings and waking up early to travel I am worn out. Time to check out what’s going on behind my eyelids! Goodnight friends.
